TITLE/DESCRIPTION:  Concurrent Beneficiaries: Receiving SSI and a Title II Benefit? Find out What Happens When You Work!

People can receive Supplemental Security Income (SSI), a Title II disability benefit, Medicaid
and Medicare all at the same time. These people are called Concurrent Beneficiaries by the
Social Security Administration (SSA). Concurrent Beneficiaries need to be aware of the rules
around earned income and retaining healthcare for both programs when they go to work.

This webinar will explain how and why someone becomes a Concurrent Beneficiary. We’ll cover the “work incentive” programs for SSI and Title II that can be used to continue to receive the monthly cash benefit when working and how the two programs interact….and don’t interact with each other.
