TITLE/DESCRIPTION:  What Is HIPP And How Does It Work In Texas? 

HIPP is an optional State Medicaid program that helps reimburse eligible individuals for their share of an employer-sponsored health insurance premium payment. It is for families with at least one person who gets Medicaid. People enrolled in any Medicaid program, with a few exceptions, are eligible to enroll in HIPP.
