Michelle graduated from Indiana State University in 1999 with a degree in English Teaching, helping students learn to enjoy reading was a passion. Later, she transitioned into a career in real estate. As a Realtor, helping families find their perfect home brought her immense joy. After 15 years in real estate, Michelle has found a new way to help- through holistic financial planning.
Michelle enjoys working with our collaborative team to make sure that families and small businesses are protected against the unexpected, and the very much expected ebbs and flows of life. Her family has experienced their fair share of ups and downs and now she prefers to educate others to help them avoid financial pitfalls.
She wishes that people were more educated about money issues and how to make their money work for them in the most efficient, effective way possible. "Finances are not rocket science, but it definitely should be taught in school," says Michelle. She believes that if everyone knew how easy it really was to prepare for the future, life's challenges would be far easier for them to overcome.
Michelle and her husband Andy have 2 sons and 1 large dog. She loves to travel, go to concerts, do volunteer work, sing really loud in her car, and visit theme parks. She says, "Nothing shakes out stress like dancing like a fool in front of your favorite band or flying upside down at 60 miles per hour!"
